La mostra dedicata a Marianna Elmo, la ricamatrice leccese affermata nel panorama del Settecento per l’arte dei quadri a fili incollati, è il primo evento espositivo realizzato a Lecce con le sue opere. La mostra è a cura di Giacomo Lanzilotta.
L'evento espositivo è realizzato grazie al sostegno, attraverso l'Art Bonus, della Banca Popolare Pugliese, al contributo della Capriello Vincenzo s.r.l. - Restauri, e alla collaborazione della Direzione regionale dei musei della Campania, Museo di San Martino di Napoli.
GIORNI E ORARI DI APERTURA: Il Museo è aperto al pubblico dal martedì alla domenica dalle ore 10,00 alle ore 21,00 orario continuato.

RICAMATA PITTURA (EMBROIDERED PAINTING) | Marianna Elmo and the art of broderie à fils collés in the South of Italy in the 18th century

The exhibition dedicated to embroiderer Marianna Elmo from Lecce, who was really popular in the 18th century for the art of embroidered paintings, is the first event in Lecce where her works are exhibited. The exhibition is curated by Giacomo Lanzillotta.
The exhibition was possible thanks to the Art Bonus from Banca Popolare Pugliese, the support from Capriello Vincenzo s.r.l. – Restauri and the cooperation from Direzione regionale dei musei della Campania, the National Museum of San Martino in Naples.
Days and opening hours: the museum is open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday 10.00 – 21.00.
